Breastfeeding is strongly encouraged and supported at Aurora. Designed to help mothers get started and to assist with any issues or concerns you may have, our lactation consultants are all International Board Certified Lactation Consultants.
Lactation specialists have the skills to help you with:
- Ensuring the safety of taking medications while breastfeeding
- Problems with infants latching on
- Nursing multiples
- Stimulation of lactation for an adopted infant
