Breast cancer facts

This year, an estimated 192,000 women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer. Breast cancer is the most frequently diagnosed cancer in women and the second leading cause of cancer death for women in the U.S. Visit the American Cancer Society web site for more statistics on breast cancer.

Five of Aurora’s Comprehensive Breast Care Centers are accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), a program administered by the American College of Surgeons.
