The Embolden study is a research study that evaluates the effectiveness of a neuroprotection device when used with a FDA approved carotid stent.

To participate in the EMBOLDEN study, you must

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Have carotid artery stenosis
• Have at least one high risk critieria for carotid endarderectomy surgery
