        Invasive Breast Cancer (CALGB 40101)

The Purpose of this study is to compare 4 cycles to 6 cycles of chemotherapy for invasive breast cancer.

To participate in this study you must be:

• Women over 18 years of age
• Must not have had any previous therapy for breast cancer
• May have up to 3 positive lymph nodes; if no positive lymph nodes, the risk of recurrence must be high
• Hormone receptors (ER, PR) and Her2 may be positive, negative or unknown
• Must have had breast surgery to remove the breast cancer including lymph node removal if applicable
