Cardiovascualar Outcomes in Renal Atherosclerotic Lesions is a study evaluating the effectiveness of renal stenting and expert medical management against expert medical management alone for people who suffer from HTN and renal artery stenosis.
To Qualify you must:
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have either a documented history of hypertensiion on 2 or more anti-hypertensive medications or
  • have renal dysfunction defined as stage 3 or greater CKD based on NKF classifications.
  • have renal artery stenosis (documented by multilple forms of imaging)
  • You cannot be pregnant
  • allergic to stainless steel
  • willing to comply with all study procedures.

Subjects will recieve study drug of Atacand or Atacand/HCT and Caduet for the duration of the study, which could last up to 5 years.
