Annual Report

Our research participants are our inspiration. Often for no personal benefit, they willingly participate in research studies, offering hope to future patients in need of new treatments and creating the valuable evidence needed to transform and improve care. This annual report aims to share some of their stories.

Together We’re Advancing Patient Care Through Research

At Advocate Aurora Research Institute, our research is transforming patient care, our achievements are garnering national attention and our collective efforts are strengthening Advocate Aurora Health and the communities we serve.

In 2018, Advocate Health Care and Aurora Health Care merged to create one of the largest nonprofit health systems in the United States – Advocate Aurora Health. Integration of our two research institutes – Advocate Research Institute and Aurora Research Institute – has resulted in more research opportunities to further improve patient outcomes and transform the lives of individuals and populations.
