Overview

Building on Our Strong Research Foundations

Aurora Research Institute supports more than 500 clinical trials and investigator-initiated research studies. We work to translate this important research into practical and more effective treatments for our patients.

This translation of scientific research into clinical application makes Aurora an important contributor to the advance of medical knowledge worldwide.

Our successes include:

  • International reach: Journal of Patient-Centered Research and Reviews has readers in over 150 countries and all 50 states. Read articles about the latest medical advances in Journal of Patient-Centered Research and Reviews.
  • Biospecimen distribution: The Biorepository and Specimen Resource Center has streamlined how we collect, store and process blood and tissue specimens throughout Aurora and with external researchers and corporations conducting medical research. We can distribute biospecimens efficiently to researchers at Aurora and across the country.
  • Expanding research: In addition to our established oncology, cardiology and neurosciences research lines, we are expanding into emerging research areas, including women’s health, orthopedics and critical care.
