As the nature and context of illness is unique to the individual patient, Eric Roberts, MD, believes that developing an effective treatment plan requires careful history taking and sufficient time to promote education and understanding. Dr. Roberts specializes in the diagnosis and management of pulmonary hypertension, right-sided heart failure, advanced left heart failure, and cardiac transplantation. He routinely performs hemodynamic assessment by right heart catheterization, heart biopsy, coronary angiography, and assessment of hemodynamics by exercise while undergoing heart catheterization.
Dr. Roberts earned his medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine, Detroit, MI and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Loyola University, Maywood IL. He is fellowship trained in Cardiovascular Disease and served as Chief Fellow at Aurora Health Care/Aurora Sinai Medical Center. He completed an Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology fellowship at Aurora Health Care, St. Luke's Medical Center. Dr. Roberts is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the National Board of Echocardiography.
