"I believe it is very important to have a partnership with my patients in order to empower them to manage their disease. This can only be accomplished with an honest relationship where respect, trust and compassion are supplemented with up-to-date neurological care."
I earned my medical degree from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, Guadalajara, Mexico. I served my residency in neurology at Boston University, Boston, Massachusetts. I am board certified in neurology, neurophysiology, and electrodiagnostic medicine. I also speak Spanish.
My areas of interest include epilepsy or seizures, peripheral neuropathies, and myasthenia gravis. I specialize in electroencephalography an essential tool in the diagnosing of seizures and epilepsy and electromyography, which is used to treat neuromuscular disorders.
I have a young family with my wife and our three children; two boys who enjoy soccer as much as their father and a little girl who is learning to love the sport just as much. We try to spend as much time together as possible either playing or watching soccer and trying every outdoor activity we can.
