"As a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, I provide compassionate and comprehensive behavioral health services, psychiatric evaluation, and medication management to adults and adolescents 13 years of age and older, with a primary focus on adults. My clinical skills are further enhanced by building a trusting partnership with patients and families, following evidence-based guidelines, and integrating the unique aspects of an individual's life to promote strength-based healing and optimal wellness."
I earned a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Alverno College, a Master of Arts in Counseling from Marquette University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. I am certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
My areas of interest include anxiety disorders, attention deficit disorder, bipolar disorder, depression, and LGBTQ+ issues. With a background in counseling and social work, I also incorporate therapy, patient advocacy, and education into my practice.
Outside of the clinic, I serve as an Assistant Professor in the MSN program at Alverno College. I also enjoy cycling, motorcycling, gardening, crafting, and traveling.
