2nd Annual Fox Tail Art Fair Hosted by Kradwell School

April 09, 2012

Milwaukee, Wi. mailto: Mark your calendar for Kradwell School’s 2nd Annual Fox Tail Art Fair on Saturday, May 19, 2012 in the Learning Gardens at Kradwell School, 1220 Dewey Ave in Wauwatosa.

The Fox Tail Art Fair is a free event that will highlight the artwork of more than 30 artists from around the state. Attendees will be able to purchase a variety of juried art, including fine art, garden art, and ceramics. This event also features a plant sale of unique annuals, perennials and baskets hand-selected by master gardeners with prices starting at $5.

“The Fox Tail Art Fair is a fun, family friendly event. There is something for everyone to enjoy – from children’s art activities to browsing the artwork and plant sale to visiting with animals from the Humane Animal Welfare Society of Waukesha. And of course, there will be great foods to sample,” said Geri Bialzik, show director.

All proceeds from the Fox Tail Art Fair benefit the Kradwell School scholarship fund. Kradwell serves 5th to 12th grade students who struggle to succeed in a traditional school environment. Students benefit from a highly structured, individualized plan for their academic, emotional and behavioral growth. Approximately 15 percent of Kradwell’s students receive scholarship assistance to offset the cost of yearly tuition.

Sponsorship opportunities and ad space are available for purchase. Sponsors receive public recognition in both print and web-based promotions. Please contact Jim Thompson at 414-219-7350 or jim.thompson@aurora.org for more information on the art fair, sponsorship opportunities or to purchase an ad.

Public Relations Guidelines and Procedures

The public relations team at Aurora Health Care operates under the following guidelines and procedures:

To arrange interviews, press should call public relations. A member of our team can help access a specialist. If the person a reporter requests is not available, we may be able to provide an alternative source.

Protecting the privacy of patients and families is our responsibility; it's also the law. Please do not come to our sites unannounced. Rather, contact public relations and we will find experts for interviews and connect you. We'll also make an effort to contact patients upon your request to ascertain their interest in being interviewed.

Ensuring patient confidentiality and privacy, and exhibiting sensitivity to all of the patients, families and employees at Aurora Health Care is of vital concern. Therefore, reporters, film crews and photographers must always be accompanied by a public relations team member while on any of the campuses.

To be photographed or videotaped at Aurora Health Care, patients or their legal guardians must sign a consent form. A member of our public relations team can arrange this.

Because of the federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) patients over 18 or their legal guardian must complete a release form before anyone who works at Aurora Health Care can release confidential information about a patient. A member of our public relations team can arrange consent

Reporters inquiring about a patient’s condition should contact a member of our public relations team, with the individual's full name.
