(Recipe) Sweet & Sassy Salmon

This dish is a tasty way to prepare salmon. Salmon is nutrient dense and an excellent source of protein, vitamins and minerals (potassium, selenium, vitamin D and vitamin B12) along with omega-3 fats. Omega-3 fats offer numerous cardiovascular benefits such as lowering blood pressure and triglycerides as well as reducing risks for heart disease, stroke and heart arrhythmias. Omega-3 fats are also great for your brain. They help reduce risk for depression and cognitive decline.

Plus, salmon is simply scrumptious! This dish is great baked, prepared on the outside grill or on an indoor grilling machine.
