When is Your Child Too Ill For School?

You child says they don’t feel good, but are they just trying to get out of going to school?

In our video report, Pediatrician Dr. Jenny Thomas offers a quiz to help you decide if your child is too sick for school.

The American Academy of Pediatrics and Aurora Health Care recommend that you ask yourself three questions:

  1. Does your child have a fever? (Usually more than 100 to 100.4 degrees.)
  2. Is your child well enough to participate in class?
  3. Does your child have an illness that could be contagious?

Take the video quiz to learn more.
