Milwaukee Heart Institute

Cardiovascular disease remains America's number one cause of death – every 33 seconds another life is lost to the disease. At the Milwaukee Heart Institute, located inside Aurora Sinai Medical Center, we’re dedicated to the fight against heart disease.

Services & Treatment

We offer:

  • Cardiac surgery
  • Electrophysiology
  • Interventional cardiology
  • A pacemaker clinic
  • A peripheral vascular clinic
  • State-of-the-art cardiac diagnostics
  • Wellness and prevention
Aurora Sinai specializes in interventional cardiac procedures and has led the way in the diagnosis and treatment of peripheral vascular disease. We have one of two fellowship training programs for doctors in the city. Thanks to our pursuit of clinical research, we bring the latest treatment options to our patients. A perfect example of this is focal ablation, a revolutionary new procedure that offers a potential cure for atrial fibrillation (rapid heart beat). Aurora Sinai is one of a limited number of facilities in the country that performs focal ablation.
