hand, wrist & elboworthopedic services

overview

Your hand, wrist and forearm contain dozens of bones, both large and small. These bones are connected by many muscles and tendons that we use every day – so they’re often prone to injury.

We’re proud to offer comprehensive treatment options for the hand, wrist and elbow, no matter what you need. And our hand orthopedic surgeons work alongside certified in-house physical and occupational therapists to streamline and simplify your experience.

services & treatments

We offer the following hand, wrist and elbow orthopedic treatments:

  • Cubital tunnel surgery (similar to carpal tunnel, but in the elbow)
  • Golfer's elbow treatment
  • Occupational therapy
  • Physical therapy
  • Tennis elbow treatment
  • Xiaflex® for Dupuytren’s contracture (an inherited, progressive hand disorder that limits movement of your fingers)
We also offer surgical carpal tunnel syndrome treatment. Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) is a common and often disabling disease. Common symptoms include:

  • Tingling or numbness in your fingers or hand.
  • Pain extending from your wrist to your arm or shoulder, or down into your palm or fingers
  • Weakness in your hands and a tendency to drop objects

why Aurora?

We were among the first in Wisconsin to offer a less-invasive carpal tunnel surgery using an endoscope (a tiny camera attached to it lets your doctor perform surgery through small incisions in your hand or wrist). With this less-invasive procedure, you will experience less pain and return to normal activities more quickly.
