We offer adolescent gynecology, family planning, preventive services, psychosocial/emotional health resources and support and advocacy. Along with addressing their physical health care needs, our staff also supports teenagers who are facing challenging issues like abusive relationships, body image problems, depression, drug and alcohol abuse, eating disorders or problems with peer pressure, sexuality or sexually transmitted infections.

Menopausal medicine: Our goal is to empower you with the knowledge you need to successfully manage the physical and emotional aspects of menopause.

Sexual Medicine Clinic: Female sexual dysfunction (FSD) is one of the most under-diagnosed medical issues in the United States. FSD not only affects a woman’s quality of life, self-esteem and relationships, it may also be a marker of a serious underlying medical disease, such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease or depression. Our multidisciplinary team treats female orgasmic disorder, female sexual interest/arousal disorder and genito-pelvic pain/penetration disorder. FSD symptoms may include:

  • Low libido or sexual desire
  • Fear of sexual activity
  • Decreased sensitivity and ability to be stimulated
  • Dryness during intercourse
  • Inability or difficulty reaching orgasm
  • Diminished orgasmic response
  • Pain during intercourse
  • Spasms and tightening of vaginal muscles
  • Vulvar pain, called vulvodynia
Treatment options include biofeedback, topical and oral medications, pelvic floor therapy, psychotherapy and counseling, treatment for underlying health concerns and surgery.

Cancer wellness: The physical and emotional effects of cancer don't end with your treatment. We will work with you to create your survivorship care plan, which includes a summary of your cancer treatments as well as a road map for ongoing care. We’ll also help you address health issues specific to cancer treatment, such as sexual health or fertility concerns.
