Egg DonorProgram

Egg donor services help others conceive

Aurora’s Egg Donor Program helps couples who are struggling with infertility to realize their dream of having a family. Eligible egg donors are women between the age of 20 and 31 who meet the guidelines established by the American Society for Reproductive Medicine for egg donation.

To begin the process, interested donors should contact the Aurora egg donor services nurse coordinator who will provide them with access to an online egg donor profile form. The nurse coordinator will review the completed forms. Eligible donors are entered into our donor base for recipients to review donor profiles and criteria when selecting a donor.

Once the recipient selects a donor, the donor will be asked to complete basic blood tests, cultures and psychological evaluation, which is all paid for by the recipient.

Egg Donor Services

Typically, a woman produces one egg per menstrual cycle. Therefore, follicle-stimulating hormones are given to the donor to increase the number of viable eggs produced during a cycle. Ultrasound and blood hormone levels are monitored during the preparation period to analyze the progress. Through a minimally invasive procedure, the eggs are retrieved from the donor.

Aurora Fertility Services follows all FDA rules and regulations on donated cells and tissues, and current good tissue practices, as established by the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, Society for Assisted Reproductive Technologies and the College of American Pathologists.

As the donor, your privacy is strictly protected and donations are made confidentially

Egg Donor Compensation

Women who complete the egg donation process will receive considerable monetary compensation after the egg retrieval. In addition, all medical expenses will be paid by the recipient.
