A community vision coming to life
Aurora Health Care is investing nearly $50 million to transform the former Wisconsin Avenue School into The Beacon, a first-of-its-kind health and wellness hub designed with and for Milwaukee's Near West Side. Guided by the voices of more than 1,000 community members, leaders and organizations, The Beacon will bring together programs, services and resources that help people improve their health, find opportunity and build stronger connections close to home.
