Overview

Are you a high school senior, college student or Aurora caregiver interested in academic scholarships?

Aurora Health Care offers a variety of scholarships for current and aspiring medical students, Aurora caregivers and their children.

If you’re pursuing or planning to pursue a health-related career at an accredited university, college or technical school, we have scholarships available in the following fields:

  • Medicine
  • Nursing
  • Physician assistant
  • Physical/occupational/speech therapy
  • Medical technology
  • Pharmacy
  • Radiology technology
  • And more!

Some Aurora Health Care scholarships are renewable for a maximum of four years. If you qualify for multiple scholarships, you’re encouraged to apply to all scholarships you may be eligible for.

Scholarships Available for Fond du Lac, Winnebago and Surrounding Counties:

Aurora Health Center in Fond du Lac Scholarship(s)

Amount: $500 non-renewable. Scholarships are awarded to students who are Fond du Lac County residents enrolled in an accredited medical, nursing or other health-related program.

Aurora Oshkosh Family Scholarship

Amount: $1000 non-renewable. This scholarship is available to all Aurora caregivers and family members residing in Winnebago and surrounding counties.

Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh Scholarship

Amount: $500/year, renewable for four years ($2,000). This scholarship is available to all Aurora caregivers and family members residing in Winnebago and surrounding counties.

Scholarships Available for Manitowoc County:

Aurora Medical Center in Manitowoc County Scholarships

Amount: $1000. Scholarships are awarded to students who are Manitowoc County residents enrolled in an accredited medical, nursing or other health-related program.

Aurora Medical Center in Manitowoc County Volunteer Services Scholarships

Amount: $500. Scholarships are awarded to students who are Manitowoc County residents enrolled in an accredited medical, nursing or other health-related program and have volunteer experience.

Amount: $1000. Scholarships are awarded to students who are Manitowoc County residents enrolled in an accredited medical, nursing or other health-related program.

Scholarships Available for Sheboygan County:

Aurora Health Center Sheboygan Scholarship

Amount: $1,000 non-renewable. Two scholarships are awarded to team members of Aurora Health Center Sheboygan and the Central Billing Office, or their children.  Both undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to apply.

Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center Scholarship

Amount: $1,000 non-renewable. Two scholarships are awarded to team members of Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center, or their children.  Both undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to apply.

Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Staff High School Scholarship

$1,000 non-renewable, one student per school. One scholarship is awarded to a senior at each high school as noted in the application. Each student must be enrolled in an accredited health care-related program.

Helping Hands Scholarship - Funded by the Dr. Mark and Mary Knabel Charitable Trust

Amount: $1,000 non-renewable. Dr. Mark and Mary Knabel established this annual scholarship to honor the commitment made by those pursuing a health care career. The high school senior must be enrolled in an accredited health care-related program.

Scholarships Available for Green Bay, Brown and Surrounding Counties:

Greater Green Bay Philanthropy Committee (thru the Aurora Foundation)

Amount:  (Five) $1,000 non-renewable scholarships. Scholarships are awarded to students who are enrolled in a Wisconsin higher education program to pursue a career in health care.  (Five) $1,000 scholarships will be awarded annually to high school and college students. Applications are due by February 28, 2019
