"Overall, I view my patients as a whole (mind, brain and body) and strive to improve all facets of a person's life through a strong physician-patient relationship. This relationship is critical in order to foster the art of working together towards better health and a better life."
I earned my medical degree from Des Moines University, Iowa. My residency in neurology was completed at University of Kansas. I also completed a fellowship in headache medicine at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minn.
I am skilled in procedures such as Botox, nerve blocks, trigger point injections, osteopathic medical therapy and EEGs. I also provide treatment for ailments such as headache, face pain, neck pain, nerve pain/neuropathy, seizures, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson disease, tremors, ALS and myasthenia gravis. My areas of interest include headache, epilepsy and stroke.
I grew up on a farm in northeast Wisconsin, served in the Wisconsin Army National Guard and have a deep rooted sense and commitment to the community. Married with one son, outside of the clinic I enjoy running and biking on nature trails, music, basketball, architectural and nature photography, fishing/boating and military history.
