"I am very passionate about the healthcare of women and strive to treat all my patients as family. My top priority is having patients make informed decisions with regard to their health care so they can truly take ownership of their well-being and so that the work we put in together is agreeable with their individual needs and lifestyles."
I earned my medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College, Doha, Qatar. I completed my residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Lehigh Valley Health Network, Allentown, Pa., and Wake Forest School of Medicine, Winston-Salem, N.C.
I see patients in clinic for all sorts of gynecologic as well as obstetrics complaints including abnormal periods, pelvic pain and urinary incontinence. I also provide in-office procedures such as contraception placement for intrauterine devices and birth control implants. I also offer labor and delivery care and am trained to perform vacuum and forceps assisted deliveries if needed.
Surgically, I provide minimally-invasive management ranging from endometrial ablations and operative hysteroscopy to laparoscopic and vaginal hysterectomies. When needed, I am well-trained to perform abdominal hysterectomies as well. I am especially passionate about minimally-invasive laparoscopic and vaginal surgery due to the decreased recovery times and minimal interference with a persons daily life.
Outside of the clinic, I enjoy bodybuilding, automobiles, video games and traveling.
