"I apply the concept of vis medicatrix naturae which means, 'aiding in the ability of the body to heal itself.' I treat each patient by taking into account the individual's physical, mental, emotional, environmental and social factors."
I earned my degree in therapeutic massage from Fox Valley Technical College, Appleton, Wis. I am a member of the American Massage Therapy Association and certified by the State of Wisconsin.
I perform myofascial release techniques; range of motion and joint movements; and basic Swedish massage techniques to alleviate lower back, hip, neck pains, headaches, disk degeneration disease, frozen shoulder and carpal tunnel syndrome symptoms. I also perform chair massages.
I enjoy caring for maternity patients and those in an in-patient setting. I am also interested in Reiki, reflexology, aromatherapy, and sports medicine.
Outside of work, I enjoy taking long walks along Lake Michigan, bicycling, kayaking, camping, exercising and gardening.
