Brittani Gierisch, MD, is a strong believer in preventative medicine and long-term life-long care. She believes in gaining a thorough understanding of her patient's medical history, including social and economic elements, as it is imperative to providing the best possible health services. Dr. Gierisch's passion is providing care for the entire family, from infants to seniors.
Dr. Gierisch offers services for preventative medicine, acute, and chronic conditions. She provides care for women's health, well child exams, and family planning, as well as many chronic conditions like diabetes, liver disease, asthma, COPS, and hypertension to name a few. Additionally, she performs in-office procedures, including pap smears, small cyst removal, trigger finger or joint injections, IUD or nexplanon placement/removal, etc.
After earning her medical degree from the American University of Antigua, St. John's, Antigua and Barbuda, she went on to complete her family and community medicine residency from the University of Texas Health at San Antonio. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and intends to become certified by the American Board of Obesity with a focus on obesity and weight management.
Outside of work, Dr. Gierisch spends time walking her dog and exercising outdoors, when possible. She also enjoys the dining, music and festival scenes in Milwaukee.
