Carolyn Boatman, RN, BSN, MSOM, Dipl-Ac, is a certified acupuncturist and registered nurse. As a general practitioner, she sees patients with a variety of health concerns, as well as for preventative health and well-being visits. She has special interest in women's health, healthy aging and facial rejuvenation, and pursues continuing education in these areas. Her personal experience with traditional Chinese medicine has shown her it is gentle and effective for healing, as well as being an effective method for maintaining optimal health and vitality.
Carolyn earned her bachelor's degree in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee and a master's degree in Oriental Medicine from Midwest College of Oriental Medicine. Her traditional Chinese medicine training included more than 2,800 hours of clinical experience in acupuncture and herbal medicine, as well as western medicine and nutrition. She is board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
