Charlene G. Halbert, Au.D., Audiologist, joined Aurora Health Care in 1999. She sees patients at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center and St. Luke's South Shore.
Dr. Halbert has been an audiologist since 1979 having earned her Master of Science degree in Audiology from the University of Kansas. She earned her Doctor of Audiology (AuD) degree in December 2004 from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry's School of Audiology program.
Dr. Halbert has worked with a comprehensive patient population in a wide variety of settings. These settings included a private school for children with communicative disorders, a VA Medical Center, a private rehabilitation center, an ENT practice and multiple hospital programs. Dr. Halbert provides individualized audiologic care that empowers individuals so that they may preserve and maximize their use of hearing in an effort to enhance their health and well-being.
Hobbies include knitting, reading and gardening. Among her volunteer activities, Dr. Halbert is proud to have raised a puppy for Canine Companions for Independence.
