Colleen Plein, MD, believes in taking time to listen to her patients, giving them consideration, comfort and dignity. She educates patients about their conditions and offers all treatment options, allowing patients the opportunity to make the best decision with regards to their overall health and quality of life.
Dr. Plein specializes in adult and pediatric otolaryngology including all disorders of the ears, nose and throat. She aids in the management of Obstructive Sleep Apnea and snoring, nose and sinus problems, voice disorders and vocal cord paralysis, swallowing problems, hearing loss, and thyroid and parathyroid surgery. Additionally, Dr. Plein is experienced in ENT specific procedures including videostroboscopy, vocal cord injection, sleep surgery, and nasal and sinus surgery.
Dr. Plein earned her medical degree at the University of Chicago and completed her residency in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at SUNY Downstate, Brooklyn, NY. She is Board Certified in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery by the American Board of Otolaryngology.
