Dr. Daniel T. McKenna is a fellowship-trained specialist in bariatric surgery. He completed a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery and received advanced training in laparoscopic and bariatric surgery at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire. Dr. McKenna then was director of the Minimally Invasive Surgery Fellowship and the Esophageal & Gastric Surgery Center at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. He also was an assistant professor of surgery at the school. Dr. McKenna received his medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska, and did his surgical residency at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison. He is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery.
