"My practice philosophy is pretty simple: 1. I will correctly identify your problem. 2. I will provide the most advanced testing and treatment to help solve your root problem. 3. I will teach you what you can do to prevent the problem from coming back. I understand that chiropractic is new to a lot of people. I remember how unfamiliar it seemed to me when I was treated by a chiropractor for the first time. With that in mind, I make it a point to answer all questions and explain all testing and treatment prior to initiating them."
I earned a Doctorate in Chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic, Davenport, Iowa. I also completed a bachelor's degree from Concordia University, Mequon, Wis. Certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and the Wisconsin Chiropractic Examining Board, I also received special training in: whiplash and traumatic brain injuries; Nutrition -State of Wisconsin Certification Program; Exercise Rehabilitation - State of Wisconsin Certification Program; and Graston Soft Tissue Manipulation.
I strive to use the most conservative and effective testing and treatment options available by utilizing a combination of chiropractic manipulation (Diversified, Gonstead, Cox, Thompson, Activator); electrical stimulation; ultrasound; cold laser; soft tissue techniques; and active care exercises. This restores proper joint motion while reducing inflammation and pain.
I enjoy working with people of all ages, but I have a special interest in sports medicine. In August 2008, I had the opportunity to provide chiropractic care for the St. Louis Rams (National Football League) throughout their training camp. I am the team chiropractor for Concordia University and have been a member of Concordia's Athletic Training Staff since 2007.
Married with two daughters, outside of the clinic I am an avid sports fan. I have been a member of the Grafton Fire Department since 2009 and enjoy a good round of golf with family and friends in my free time.
