I believe in treating my patients as if they were part of my family. I provide diagnosis and treatment for all surgical diseases of the lungs, airway, pleura, mediastinum, chest wall and esophagus, using minimally invasive and robotic thoracic surgery.
I earned my medical degree at the Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed my General Surgery Residency at Henry Ford Hospital, both in Detroit, MI. I completed my fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery at the Stanford University School of Medicine in Stanford, CA, and am board certified by the American Board of Surgery. Additionally, I completed a research fellowship at the University of Michigan Extracorporeal Life Support Laboratory.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, traveling, biking, hiking, dining and shows. My hobbies and interests include playing guitar, electronic music production, fitness, water activities (boating, rafting, kayaking) and environmentally sustainable energy technology.
