I grew up in south Texas and earned my medical degree from New York Medical College and The Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara International Medical Pathway, Guadalajara, Mexico, which aimed to bring bilingual physicians to the United States. During my residency training at The Institute for Family Health and Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, I found my passion for holistic health and wellness.
After studying Yoga and Meditation in south India at the Sivananda Yoga Vendanta Center, I decided to take my training to a new level by completing a fellowship in Integrative Medicine at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, and became certified through The Academy of Healing Nutrition. Moving to Wisconsin from New York to be closer to friends and family has been such a rewarding and exciting experience.
Board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and in alignment with my fundamental mission of Integrative Family Medicine, I am passionate about bringing the best of modern integrative primary care to my local community. I am eager to meet and partner with my patients in order to design the best treatment options for their lives, taking into account the whole person - body, mind, and spirit, and making use of all appropriate therapies, both conventional and alternative.
My medical interests include nutrition, weight loss management, botanical medicine, healthy lifestyle, mindfulness, breath work, aromatherapy, meditation and yoga. In my spare time, you might find me jogging with my pup, biking around town or enjoying the local grub and music scene.
