"Once I've offered my medical expertise, I believe it is important for the patient to become involved in the decision making process. I encourage my patients to ask questions regarding their treatment so they feel comfortable with the decision and direction of their healthcare."
I earned my medical degree in Cebu Doctors' University. My internal medicine internship and residency were completed in New York Medical College - Lincoln Medical Center where in 1994, I was selected as Chief Resident. I completed my Gastroenterology fellowship training at New York Medical College - Westchester Medical Center in 1997. I then spent three years at Lincoln Medical Center where I was Chief of Gastroenterology. I was also a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the Weill Medical School of Cornell University. I have been with Advanced Health Care, then Aurora Health Care since 2001. I am board certified in Gastroenterology.
Away from the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my wife and 2 children. I enjoy golf, travel and scuba diving.
