David C. Kress, MD, is board certified in general, cardiovascular and thoracic surgery. He serves as Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery and Director of the Surgical Arrhythmia Program at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center. His special interests include valvular heart surgery, including mitral valve repair; off-pump coronary artery bypass; arrhythmia surgery, including the hybrid minimally invasive atrial fibrillation ablation; and extraction of pacemaker and defibrillator leads. Dr. Kress also leads the coordination of cardiac surgery quality improvement efforts at Aurora St. Luke's.
