I earned my medical degree from Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland. I served my residency in pediatrics at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New York, N.Y. I completed my child neurology residency and fellowship in clinical neurophysiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. I am board certified in: epilepsy, neurology/child neurology and clinical neurophysiology-electroencephalography (EEG). I have also been included in the listing of Best Doctors in America for pediatric neurology and epilepsy.
I take care of pediatric patients from newborn to 18 years of age. I have special interest in:
* Seizures: I offer detailed and efficient evaluations of spells such as unexplained loss of consciousness or confusion episodes.
* EEG, Ambulatory EEG Monitoring: Essential tool that evaluates the presence and type of seizures and guides treatment decisions.
* Epilepsy: I work with families to develop treatment plans that give the best chance for optimal seizure control and improved quality of life.
