A doctor of chiropractic care, Jack Alloy, DC, offers a natural approach to health and well being without the use of drugs or surgery. He uses hands-on manipulation of the spine and other joints of the body to improve function and mobility, as well as stretching and strengthening to improve muscular function and health.
Dr. Alloy's patients are encouraged to look at all aspects of their lives that influence their overall health and well being. His philosophy of care emphasizes prevention and he incorporates positive patient education into every office visit. He is trained in nutrition and ensures that his patients understand how their diet affects their overall health. Dr. Alloy works closely with family physicians, neurosurgery and orthopedics in treating neck and back complaints such as torticollis, intervertebral disc herniation and neural foraminal stenosis. He is also trained in soft tissue techniques such as Graston® and Kinesio Tape® which aid in treating a vast array of injuries such as carpal tunnel syndrome, lateral epicondylitis, plantar fasciitis, shoulder and knee complaints, trochanteric bursitis, and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) syndrome.
Dr. Alloy has been recognized by the American Academy of Family Physicians for his work as an instructor in the Family Practice Residency Program. He was the first Doctor of Chiropractic to be awarded hospital treating privileges at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center. (03/10)
