Dr. Derus is a board-certified urologist whose practice focuses on the treatment of prostate diseases, kidney stones and infertility. He offers leading-edge robotic prostate surgery, which means less pain, faster recovery and greater potential for preserving quality of life issues for his patients.
Dr. Derus is among one of the most experienced surgeons in the state to provide robotic-assisted surgery. In practice since 1990 he has served as Chief of Urology and Chairman of Cancer Care at St. Luke's Medical Center. He also serves as head of quality management for the Urology Department at the medical center.
As a service to Spanish speaking patients, Dr. Derus offers interpretation services at his office adjacent to St. Luke's Medical Center.
Born and raised in Madison, Dr. Derus now lives in Elm Grove with his wife and four children. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, skiing, music and coaching soccer.
