Dr. Hermanoff earned his medical degree at Northwestern University Medical School. He completed his residency at the University of Colorado Health Science Center and then a fellowship at the prestigious National Jewish Center for Immunology and Respiratory Medicine in Denver. He is board certified in allergy and clinical immunology, as well as internal medicine.
Dr. Hermanoff specializes in the treatment of all areas of allergy including asthma, allergic rhinitis (hay fever), sinusitis, eczema, hives, food and drug allergies, and insect sensitivity. He has special interests in asthma education, clinical immunology and latex allergy. "My specialized training and experience, coupled with recent advances in the treatment of allergies, have given me the tools to better care for my patients." Dr. Hermanoff says.
He is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. He has published articles and book chapters, and has presented at national conferences and acted as a mentor for other physicians. Bringing his expertise and knowledge to the public is important to Dr. Hermanoff, and he has been involved with asthma and allergy education forums as well as television and radio medical news programs.
He and his wife and children are excited about living in Wisconsin where they can pursue their hobbies of skiing, biking, camping and hiking.
