Orthopedic surgeon Scott Simmons, MD, has more than 17 years of experience treating a wide variety of orthopedic disorders. Dr. Simmons is well versed in arthroscopic and minimally invasive treatment of sports-related injuries, such as ankle, elbow, knee and shoulder. He also manages arthritic conditions involving the joints, from early treatment options through total joint replacement.
Dr. Simmons recently retired as a colonel in the U.S. Army, serving more than 26 years with deployments to both Germany and Iraq. This military experience, along with his medical education, has expanded his expertise in treating both orthopedic trauma and hand/wrist injuries.
