My goal is to provide comprehensive vascular surgery in both endovascular and open procedures with compassion, patience and availability. I earned my medical degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland, St. Johns, Canada. I completed my residency in general surgery at East Carolina University, Greenville, N.C. I also completed a fellowship in vascular surgery at Case Western University, Cleveland, Ohio. Board certified in general and vascular surgery from the American Board of Surgery, I also received additional training in minimal invasive laparoscopic surgery at East Carolina University. I provide carotid endarterectomy and stenting, aortic occlusive and aneurysm repair (open and endovascular), varicose veins ablation, phlebectomies and sclerotherapy, lower extremity peripheral artery disease (both open and endovascular repair), dialysis access catheter, arteriovenous fistula and graft and I interpret vascular studies.
Outside of the clinic, I enjoy building and flying radio controlled planes, reading and hiking.
