"It is my belief that we are health care partners. I am an expert in Women's Health, and you are an expert in what health care choices are best for you as an individual."

I am an experienced nurse practitioner who provides gynecologic care for women of all ages and transgendered care for people over age 18. My special areas of interest are midlife transitions, osteoporosis prevention and management, all methods of contraception, transgender care and hormone management, LGBTQ advocacy, sexual health education and care for all ages, genders and orientations (with some limitations for men). I work closely with physicians to ensure patients get the best care possible.

With a bachelor's degree in Nursing from Washington Adventist University, and a master's degree in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh, I have over 36 years of experience as a nurse practitioner and over 40 years of experience as a registered nurse.

In addition to my board certification as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, I am certified as a Sexual Health Counselor by the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists, and I'm certified as a Menopause Specialist by the North American Menopause Society.

I am married and have two grown sons. My husband and I enjoy storytelling to adults and children while portraying various characters (pirates, Mr. and Mrs. Claus & other historical characters). I am also involved with many Irish activities, including the Milwaukee Irish Fest, the Milwaukee Hurling Club, and Irish music.
