"My goal as a physician is to provide each patient with the respect and quality care that they deserve. I strive to create an open, non-judgmental environment that allows the patient to express concerns and ask questions. I recognize the importance of good communication in helping patients navigate their care. I believe that providing my patients with the appropriate knowledge and education will empower them to be able to make decisions regarding their own bodies."
I earned my medical degree from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Des Moines, Iowa. I went on to complete my residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Aurora Sinai Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wis. I am also working towards WPATH GEI certification for transgender care, and I am certified to provide centering in pregnancy.
I provide gynecological care, annual well woman examinations, sexual health, contraception and family planning, gynecological surgeries and procedures, and obstetrical care. I have a special interest in minimally invasive gynecological surgery in the treatment of abnormal uterine bleeding, endometriosis, and other gynecological problems. I am also interested in sexual health, including LGBTQ care, and have additional training in transgender care.
Married with an adorable, lovable morkie dog, outside of the clinic I enjoy running, reading books, gardening, cheering on the Badgers and Brewers, and socializing with family and friends.
