Junaid Kalia, MD, aims to provide timely, evidence-based, cost-effective acute and critical care to neurological and neurosurgical patients.
Dr. Kalia provides treatment for patients suffering from acute ischemic stroke, intracerebral hemorrhage, status epilepticus, subarachnoid hemorrhage and neuromuscular emergencies. He has additional training in reading continuous electroencephalograph (EEG) in critically ill patients.
Dr. Kalia earned his medical degree at Sindh Medical College, Karachi University, Karachi, Pakistan. He completed his residency in Neurology at Saint Louis University Hospital in Missouri and fellowship in Neurocritical Care at UT Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas TX.
In his free time, Dr. Kalia enjoys spending time with his family, technology, electronic medical records implementation, mobile applications and racquet ball.
