"My goal is to provide excellent and accessible care to patients and advance the care of athletes with neurological injuries and conditions."
I am a board certified neurologist with additional training in sports neurology. My medical degree was earned from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in Sint Maarten. I completed a transitional year residency at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan and an adult neurology residency at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire. In addition, I completed a sports neurology fellowship at The Sports Neurology Clinic in Brighton, Michigan.
My practice focus includes concussion management and education, chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) management and education, athlete brain health and counseling, sports-related peripheral nerve injuries, and procedural based treatments such as nerve blocks and Botox.
My areas of interest include youth and adult sports neurology, athlete brain health, counseling and education, and neurological injuries and conditions in the military, law enforcement, and first responders.
Outside of work, I enjoy fitness and traveling.
