I use a holistic approach to diagnosing and treating patients. I believe that educating patients is an important part of being a physician and that good communication is paramount to the quality of care that I provide. I strive to form a partnership with my patients and develop a mutually agreed upon plan of care.
I earned my medical degree from the University of North Texas - Health Science Center at Fort Worth. I completed my residency in family medicine at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills, Mich. I am certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians and the American Osteopathic Board of Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine.
I am skilled in osteopathic manipulative treatments, which may help in conditions such as fibromyalgia, migraines and headaches, acute and chronic back pain, neck pain, carpel tunnel, foot disorders and many other conditions.
I also have extensive experience in treating dancers, musicians and athletes. I have worked with professional football players, collegiate runners, ballet and ballroom dancers and professional symphony musicians. I also provide prolotherapy, which is a unique form of treatment that stimulates the body to strengthen and repair tissues that have been weakened by injury, insufficient healing or other medical conditions.
Outside of the clinic, I enjoy multiple activities including ballet, wood turning, sailing and cycling.
