Kristine Besharat, LMT, is a licensed massage therapist and has practiced massage therapy professionally for over 17 years. She became a massage therapist because she wanted to assist others on their path to wellness.
Kristine has extensive training in clinical massage techniques and physical therapy. She takes great pride not only in helping people recover from an injury or illness, but also in helping them to become more proactive in their own wellness by assisting them in managing stress. She understands that there is no one technique that addresses every situation and will customize a treatment plan to best address a client's goals utilizing a variety of tools, including Swedish relaxation techniques, myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy, craniosacral therapy and sports-massage techniques.
Kristine studied at The American Institute of Massage Therapy in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is nationally certified in Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork, a Wisconsin certified Chiropractic Assistant and a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
