"I became a Massage Therapist because I wanted to do something to assist others on their path to wellness. Having extensive training in clinical massage techniques and physical therapy allows me to truly tailor sessions to clients' specific circumstances and/or goals. I understand that there is no one technique that addresses every situation and I will customize a treatment plan to best address a client's goals utilizing a variety of tools including: Swedish relaxation techniques, myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy, craniosacral therapy and sports massage techniques.

I graduated from The American Institute of Massage Therapy in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 1995. I also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I am a Wisconsin Licensed Massage Therapist, Nationally Board Certified Massage Therapist in Massage and Bodywork, a Wisconsin Certified Chiropractic Assistant and a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association. I have practiced massage therapy professionally since 1995 in Chicago and Milwaukee in a variety of settings including hospitals, outpatient clinics, wellness centers, day spas, and chiropractic offices. Additionally, I have had training in oncology massage, Reiki and aromatherapy to address the needs of oncology patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

My desire to have the opportunity to work in a clinical environment with an organization that I felt understood the value of integrative therapies within a Western medical setting is what drew me to Aurora Healthcare in 2001. I take great pride not only in helping people recover from an injury or illness, but also in helping them to become more proactive in their own wellness by assisting them in managing stress and sharing with them all the benefits that integrative medicine modalities can add to their well-being.

Aside from the work I love, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and my "fur-babies". I am a huge animal lover! I also enjoy running, biking, gardening, photography, real estate, renovation projects and writing - I'm never at a loss for things to do!
