I consider it an honor and a privilege to be a part of the journey of life and birth with my patients. I have attended hundreds of births and it is still an incredible rush of joy to experience the miracle of birth. I take the time to get to know my patients so I can understand them and so I can attempt to uniquely tailor their care experience to their needs.
I am a partner in the health and wellness of my patients. I value the relationships I have with my patients and their families and work to create a safe environment of care.
I provide routine obstetrical care for low-risk patients, routine gynecologic care including contraceptive management, health promotion/disease prevention and have a special interest in breastfeeding, prenatal education, adolescent health, infant mortality reduction, community health and urban medicine.
I earned my Master of Science at Marquette University and my Doctor of Nursing Practice at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. I am certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board.
In my free time, I cherish time with my family and enjoy reading fiction and travel.
