"As a certified nurse midwife, I am passionate about empowering all women through my full-scope practice. I believe in providing high quality, evidence-based care to women and their families throughout their lifetimes."
I entered the field of midwifery after my first career as a middle and high school science teacher, and I still utilize my skills as an educator when working with women of all ages, especially teenagers. I provide well-woman care, contraceptive counseling, pre-conception care and contraceptives, as well as prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care.
I earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Master of Science in Nursing from Marquette University. I have served on the board for the Wisconsin Affiliate of the American College of Nurse Midwives and have taught undergraduate nursing at Milwaukee School of Engineering and Marquette University.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking, canoeing, and camping with my husband, son, and dog. I also enjoy reading, yoga, and dancing.
