Acupuncture services provided at Aurora Cancer Care locations are available only to patients of those clinics who have a cancer-related diagnosis.
"I use acupuncture to help my patients achieve optimum health and wellness, and to educate them about the strengths of preventive care and the power of their own bodies to not only overcome health issues but to increase function and quality of life by being more mindful of their health."
My areas of interest include chronic pain, digestive issues, emotional well-being, sports injury rehabilitation and stroke rehabilitation.
I received a master's degree in Oriental Medicine from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minn. I completed internships at: Courage Center, Golden Valley, Minn., in spinal injury & stroke rehabilitation; Pillsbury House, Minneapolis, Minn., in free community-based health care; and Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Tianjin, China. I am certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with family, cycling both in and out of the city, and relaxing with a good book.
