"I believe in empowering my patients to live a healthy and active lifestyle. I listen closely and tailor treatment plans to fit their individual needs."
I earned my medical degree from the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM)-Virginia Campus. I completed my residency in family medicine at Lewis Gale Hospital Montgomery, Blacksburg, Va. I also completed a fellowship in sports medicine at Virginia Tech, during which I received extensive training in concussion management, musculoskeletal ultrasound, osteopathic manual medicine, prolotherapy and platelet-rich plasma injections. I am board certified in family medicine.
I am skilled in ultrasound-guided musculoskeletal injections, osteopathic manual medicine, concussion management, platelet-rich plasma and prolotherapy injections. I have particular interest in running medicine, biomechanics, activity issues related to women and low back pain.
In my free time, I enjoy running, and water and cross country skiing. I also love spending time with my family.
