"Due to the chronic nature of autoimmune diseases, it is crucial for me as a rheumatologist to provide the most comprehensive patient care possible. I believe in providing care that involves discussions about disease conditions; available treatment options and ultimately addressing a patient's various concerns. Working closely with patients, we can ensure the best possible care."
I earned my medical degree from Chittagong Medical College, Bangladesh. My residency in internal medicine was completed at Aurora St. Luke's and Aurora Sinai Medical Center and I did my Rheumatology fellowship at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Winston Salem, N.C.
Board certified in internal medicine and rheumatology, I provide arthrocentesis, joint and bursa injections. My areas of interest include rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, ankylosing spondylitis, gout, psoriatic arthritis and other autoimmune disorders.
Outside of the clinic, most of my time is spent with my daughter and my family.
