I earned my medical degree from Dhaka Medical College, Dhaka, Bangladesh. I completed my residency in internal medicine, along with a fellowship in gastroenterology, at Howard University Hospital, Washington D.C. I also completed a fellowship in hepatology at the University of Toronto, and a fellowship in transplant hepatology at the Mayo clinic, Jacksonville, Fla. I am board certified in gastroenterology, internal medicine and transplant hepatology.
I specialize in liver transplants. My areas of interest include viral hepatitis and cirrhosis of the liver.
Outside of the clinic, I enjoy traveling and music.
