Dr. Sammy Khalili's philosophy has always been to work very hard while maintaining a healthy work, life and family balance. Dr. Khalili welcomes patients of all ages, and enjoys providing care for pediatric patients. He treats patients as he would want his family to be treated, and for Dr. Khalili, his family are the most important people in his life.
Dr. Khalili offers the full range of ENT - Head and Neck Surgery Services. These procedures include advanced primary and revision functional endoscopic sinus surgery, medical and surgical management of chronic sinus disease, sinonasal tumor endoscopic resection and management, endoscopic skullbase resections, pediatric skullbase resections, functional/cosmetic rhinoplasty, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, parotid surgery, oral cavity and oropharyngeal surgery, neck dissections, tracheostomies, minor and complex skin cancer resection with local flap reconstruction, tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, sleep surgery, vocal cord augmentations, and treatment of deep space neck infections, sudden sensorineural hearing loss, conductive hearing loss, BPPV and Meniere's disease.
Although fully capable of managing the full breadth of ENT and head surgery problems, Dr. Khalili is fellowship trained further in advanced sinonasal disease and endoscopic surgery. This includes any disease of the nose - chronic rhinosinusitis, allergic rhinitis, fungal sinusitis, vasomotor rhinitis, sinonasal tumors and masses, skullbase tumors, nasal obstruction and deformity. His research interest is in both advancing these areas, particularly in searching for novel treatments for chronic sinonasal disease, genetics of CRS (Chronic Rhinosinusitis), and management of sinus tumors.
Dr. Khalili earned his medical degree at Memorial University of Newfoundland, St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Western Ontario, London, Ontario, Canada and his fellowship in Rhinology and Endoscopic Skullbase Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Khalili is board certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada and a licentiate of Medical College of Canada. He holds a Masters in Medicine, Human Genetics from Memorial University of Newfoundland.
